Lead Concentrate
تولید مس با استخراج سنگ معدن از معادن آغاز می‌شود. این سنگ‌ها معمولاً حاوی درصد کمی از مس هستند و باید فرآیندهای فیزیکی و شیمیایی پیچیده‌ای را طی کنند تا مس خالص به دست آید. استخراج به روش‌های مختلفی مانند معدن‌کاری روباز و زیرزمینی انجام می‌شود.

Bauxite Soil
پس از استخراج، سنگ معدن به کارخانه‌های فرآوری منتقل می‌شود. در این مرحله، سنگ‌های حاوی مس خرد شده و به کمک فرآیندهایی نظیر فلوتاسیون، مس از سایر مواد معدنی جدا می‌شود. این کنسانتره‌های مس سپس ذوب می‌شوند تا مس خالص‌تری به دست آید.
