How do we protect the environment?

Intelligent Wastewater Management: To minimize any negative impact, we transfer the factory’s wastewater up to four kilometers away from the complex. Then, after separating heavy particles, the treated water is returned to the mine via a reverse system to be reused in production processes. This closed loop significantly helps conserve water resources.

Precise Monitoring for Prevention: Along the wastewater transfer route, emergency wells and pits have been installed to quickly identify and control any potential leaks. These measures ensure that the health of the environment and surrounding villages is not compromised.

Real-time Air Quality Monitoring: By installing an online monitoring device in the mine, we constantly track air quality and the level of suspended particles in real-time. This allows us to react quickly to any changes.

Regular Environmental Tests: Annually, accredited laboratories conduct precise periodic environmental tests to ensure full compliance with standards and environmental health.

Rehabilitation of Extracted Areas: In the tailings dam section, we have provided a suitable bed for vegetation growth by using new soil filling of 20 cm thickness. Given that most of our recent activities have been underground, we have had less impact on the natural surface structure.
